Setarah is a member of Caiola & Rose’s Franchise, Regulatory and Transactional practice group.  Her practice focuses on preparing and registering franchise disclosure documents and related agreements, as well as preparing and negotiating vendor agreements and other contracts on behalf of franchisors. Setarah also provides diligence support and prepares agreements for M&A transactions.

Setarah started her career in Atlanta as a private equity attorney at one of the largest international law firms in the world, where she represented private equity companies in merger and acquisition transactions, spearheaded due diligence processes as part of the deal team, and assisted in contract negotiation and drafting. Setarah also supported the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practice group by conducting research and providing comments to ESG reports for public companies to comply with ESG reporting standards, drafting the chapters on life science and technology for the firm’s ESG Handbook, and conducting substantive research on states enacting anti-ESG legislation.

During her time in law school, Setarah gained in-house experience at a sports-technology company partnered with the National Football League (NFL). In this role, Setarah assisted in drafting data privacy agreements, employment agreements, and license agreements with respect to trademarks, logos, and “likeness” of NFL players.

In addition to her work at Caiola & Rose, Setarah is actively involved as a member of the Global Shapers (Atlanta chapter), where she meets the unique needs of the Atlanta community using her diverse strengths in community building and leadership.

During her free time, Setarah loves exploring coffee shops throughout Atlanta and surrounding cities, and creating music playlists for her loved ones and community/social events.
