Kimberly is a seasoned, strategic, and aggressive trial attorney.  Her practice focuses on commercial litigation with an emphasis on commercial leasing disputes, as well as contract disputes, business torts, franchise litigation, and construction disputes. Kimberly has also represented several creditors in bankruptcy cases. In addition to litigation, Kimberly represents commercial clients in lease and other contract negotiations. She has also advised clients as outside general counsel on a variety of legal matters.

Kimberly values and emphasizes client collaboration and creative problem solving. Recognizing that litigation is not always the best option, Kimberly works closely with clients to fashion solutions that are tailored to the case at hand. Kimberly is admitted to practice in all Georgia's state, superior and appellate courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia.

Kimberly taught Georgia Practice and Procedure as an adjunct professor at Georgia State University College of Law for several years. She continues to keep abreast of legal trends in Georgia and to mentor future lawyers.

Prior to joining Caiola & Rose, LLC, Kimberly defended clients in a variety of civil claims including construction litigation, motor carrier liability, premises liability, and dram shop cases. Kimberly also represented pharmaceutical companies in a variety of matters and insurance carriers in coverage disputes.

Following law school, Kimberly clerked for Chief Judge Wendy L. Hagenau at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia. In addition to bankruptcy matters, Kimberly researched and worked on a variety of adversary proceedings including real estate litigation, breach of contract claims, and other business torts, such as conversion, tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of non-compete provisions. Kimberly’s work at the bankruptcy court is what drove her passion for business litigation. During law school, she interned with the United States Trustee’s Office.

A Georgia native, Kimberly has a long history in the Atlanta legal community. Kimberly first began her career as a legal secretary in a real estate firm and worked as a paralegal in a boutique civil defense firm prior to attending law school. Kimberly has been a long-time resident of the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta. When she is not studying the finer points of the Georgia Civil Practice Act, she enjoys working within the community, travel, and spending time with friends and family.
